Default Best mounting location for a CC ICE 50amp ESC

Can some of you guys who have the Ice 50 on there trex 450 pro's please share with me where you all have mounted it at.

Its the regular ICE 50 (not the ice lite)

I just got one and I'm having a lot of difficulty at finding a good spot mount it at and keep everything looking nice and clean..

Thanks for any tips or pointers
Mike

I upgraded to an aluminum battery tray and aluminum canopy mount, and stuffed my ice 50 under my battery tray inside the frame, but consider I do have an in runner motor so its easier to fit the wiring and everything in there without the motor spining inside the frame.

Yeh I have a scorpion 2221-8 so I got to maintain enough room for the motor to spin

I had mine between the frames with the servo in the stock location on my 450pro when I ran a 2221-8 with no problems

I now run the tail servo on the boom because its easier to make adjustments and center the tail
also if I take the tail off the servo goes with it so I dont have to recenter the tail setup everytime I take the tail off

Work smarter, not harder

I had mine under the battery tray but moved it outside to the right side of the frame in front of the motor, (radio gear on the rear left).

Hasn't seemed to screw up the balance, but it was getting absolutely 0 air in there and I'd come down from every flight with the carbon fuselage reading 165 on my temp gun. Now I get 160-165 gunning directly on the ESC, but at least I know it's not even hotter behind what I'm measuring. I also don't have the Castle ICE 50 so the size might be a little different.
