Default cb 180Z tail shaft replacement

Greetings:

I am the process of tearing down my tail shaft on CB180Z and have gotten to the shaft and pulled the shaft out, ( And I was surprised to find it made of composite material) there is a bearing on the the shaft in the middle about half way down that I will need to remove and install on the new shaft when it arrives, my question is it appears that this bearing has some sort of crimp on either side the roller bearing to keep in place? Has anybody had any experience in replacing the "transmission axle" Also I guess since I have it this far torn apart, I should also replace tail shaft gears as well, I don't see any broken teeth which is a surprise as well since it seems that is the first thing to go!.
I am not sure exactly what caused the shaft to break but it broke just behind the tail gear.
I did have a crash a week or so ago where I tore the tail servo off........... but I replace it and have it flying since with no problems if flew just fine. So I am thinking that this may be some residual damage done from that crash and now has shown up. as this problem occurred during a spool up and I never got off the ground as it started spinning like a top.

Any information or tips would be much appreciated! as I am working off the exploded PDF diagram.
Thanks!
