Main Gear Stripped - I need a Motor

I have been really enjoying 500X, I like being able to get some altitude to let loose and have some comfort room while still being able to see it well. Plus it has just been flying fantastic for the multiple flight I have on it so far this year.

Except my main gear totally stripped out on me in flight Saturday, I was able to auto down some and only ended up breaking landing gear.

Motor and pinion seem ok.

I had a 1/4" play in main shaft for several flight before I noticed because I put bearing block in upside down after changing bearings. Maybe this caused some main gear wear.

I don't know but it makes me nervous, I will definitely take it easy for the first several flights. Hoping to get time to put it in the air the next several days as I will be on vacation next week. This is the Heli I hope to take to Mid America.

While setting gear mesh, it appears my problem is with my motor. Now I have to do some reading to determine what my options are.

It's the shaft or bearing. As I was setting mesh I noticed high then low, back and forth. So I marked the pinion and the high and low corresponded to the spot on the pinion.

Does anyone have a Motor to sell for the 500X.?

As a last resort if I can not get a good deal of HF I think I am going extreme budjet and will try out the Turnigy 3126 1300kv.

I have seen a post or 2 that the Turnigy 3126 1300kv has been used with no problems.
Anyone have any extended experience with the Turnigy 3126 1300kv?

I just put that one in my 500x it fit no prob. you just need .6 mod pinions for 5mm shaft..align..motor runs smooth so far. im only running 2300 or 2400 governed..but I cant push the heli like Uriah can

The turnigy 1300kv & 1600kv both work

I've got jypt01's free replacement Eflight motor sent out. He should have it Friday or Saturday. Assuming his motor is the culprit, hopefully the new-used motor will get his bird back up and running. The Eflight 520H motor is a bit underpowered for this bird, but unlike the 320H and 440H motors, it's very reliable and just keeps going (unless of course you damage it in a crash, hehe).

I did receive the motor - Thank You Uriah we I got back from vacation it was waiting on me.
Doing my replacement last night I striped the set screw taking my 13T pinion off my old motor. I am placing an order for another 13T pinion.
I will update after 1st flight.

I got everything back together last night.
Charged 3 packs to fly on lunch break.... I had to take a short lunch but was able to get one pack in and it flew great.
