Question How to adjust Gyro Gain through DX8

I have a DX8 Tx and a Mini V-Bar pro with sats only. I have figured out how to assign the correct channel. I realize Spektrum has changed the Gyro setup. DX7 I was in the 75% (gain) range for most helis and now with the DX8 I am in the 40% to 50% for gain settings. I realize all Tx are different. Here is where I am getting confused. On the main screen (not in the setup tabs) I can see on the "LIve Display" the Aux bar is moving as I adjust the gain level in the Tx. Now when I go into the "Setup" tab and then select "Transm." under the Aux/Gyro gain/bankswitching the percentages correlate perfectly with my Tx. So 45% in gryo screen on Tx = 45% under the Aux/Gyro gain/bankswitching and so on.
So here is where I am a little confused. On the main screen for Setup VStabi under Tail Rotor the gyro gain is not moving when I adjust it through the Tx. I am using about 75 in the software for my Mini Protos now but how do I know this is actually adjusting the gain positive or negative? Would 37.5 in the DX8 be = to 75 in VStabi software?

In the gyro menu, you can easily change which channel you want to use to control the gain.

And with the pc-software hooked up to the unit, you should be able to read the actual-gain values. As you change the gain on the transmitter, you should see it live on the pc. If you dont, you have either done something wrong in the setup, or chosen the wrong channel in the gyro-menu on the transmitter.

Im sure vbar got some gain-values suggested for first time use?

I do see it move on the computer on "Live Display" and on "Transm." tab under Aux/Gryo gain they both move in real time. What does not change is the main screen VStabi under Tail rotor the "Gyro gain" the slider(the portion that lists Trex 250, trex 450, Logo 600 ext.) it stays static. I can move the slider physically and input numbers directly into the box on the bottom to change the level but is does not change when I adjust the gain in the Tx. Maybe that screen does not move? Very confusing for people trying to read this. Really need a video.sorry guys

Ok now I feel stupid. Got it to work. I did not change the settings in "Others" to Aux/Gryo. Works great now.
