Wow!...Good eye Chris, Thank you. I just rebuilt the gears a week ago, haven't flown it yet, that might have been interesting. First rule of helis, check, check and re-check....

Beautiful!! A suggestion though, replace the velcro straps with 1/4" wide nylon tye wraps.

I found that the velcro straps allow the fuel bottle to wiggle in flight, setting up a harmonic at certain RPM's...

Yes, on the double sided tape, but also with the tye wraps that Chris recommends. Velcro, while it's certainly convenient, just isn't as secure as the tye wraps and that harmonic issue he refers to can get pretty ugly if it rears it's head.

Fly Safe,
Steve R.

PS: Great looking canopy!

My first reason for applying the double sided tape to the tank mounts was simply to help hold the tanks in place while I was applying the tye wraps but they also help hold everything in place after the fact. The tye wraps, when nice and snug, are probably adequate by themselves but every little bit helps. Think of it as another form of Loctite!

Fly Safe,
Steve R.

Default Bergen Industrial twin FBL

Hi to all,

I have Bergen Industrial twin, and a lot of spares for Outrage velocity 90N.

I made some changes to it, and now i have Bergen FBL with 12mm main shaft.

Now it work fine for me.
