This is what i ended up Buying

Kit is White canopy with Green decals (diabolo 550) and black boom
MKS cyclic servo
MKS tail servo
BD3sx
Xnova 4020-1200KV Shaft A (so i can cut to the desire distance)
HobbyWing platinum 100A v3 (If its good for Miles Dunkel way not for me...)
Cyclone 555mm Main Blade (suppose to have better performance and more efficient)
Rail 80.6 Tail Blade (Best Tail blade for me in the market)
Pulse 6s 4500mAh 45C

Any Suggestion before the Build????
Am i missing Something?

Congrats! I too have one on the way. Orange canopy and black boom. My setup will be nearly identical with the 1000kv, rail 556s, and a yge120lvk being the only differences. I can't wait for the kit to finish being manufactured and on its way!

GREAT...

one question why did you when with RAIL and YGE.. HW is less then 1/2 price and i decided to go with Cyclone since it suppose to be more efficient i have flown the RAIL and they are pretty good my dilema was which one i always wanted to try Cyclone.

I honestly didn't really put much thought into the blade selection. I use rails on my synergy and love them. I'd use them on the X3 and 480xx if they made those sizes. I'd almost forgotten that cyclones were out there. Maybe for my second set of blades or I'll try them next time I have a crash on one of my others.

I got the YGE on the cheap from a friend so I didn't overpay. I do like lower headspeeds and I fly regularly in very hot weather so over specing ESCs is a must, I like the AFW features too for low hs. I also didn't feel like figuring out how to set up yet another esc

The Cyclones fly real nice on my Diabolo 550. At least at 2080rpm anyway. They whistle a little, but I don't care. The heli is so quiet even on top of that, I don't mind one bit. Sounds cool.

I may try rails next time though just out of curiosity, as I just tried my first set of rails on my logo 600, and I'm liking them too. Never compared the two on the same heli.

Anyone know the gear ratio for the 550 with the stock pinion? I can't seem to find it.

Cool, thanks folks!

Anyone run actual grounding wires for static with this kit or is filing the boom adonizing per the manual good to prevent static hits?

Just file the boom. Grounding wires not necessary. Use a meter to insure proper grounding from the tail to the motor mount

It doesn't appear to be in the manual, and I'm not near mine to measure, but if no one can give you a clear cut answer pretty quick, I'd center your servo arms, drop the swash down flat onto the leveling tool that I believe is included in the kit, and adjust the links to whatever length they need to be to fit exactly.

Looking at Diabolo 550 manual German "post-it" note (which you can only see on a PC/Mac version of Adobe Reader) it appears that the cyclic servo arms are to be 14mm. Servo arm to swash linkage is 63mm. And swash to blade grip is 53mm.

I hope this helps. (I don't own a 550.)
