I've been there and back several times. I'm desperate, I'm trying anything and everything. I'm not sure exactly where I ended up last.

So again, you did not answer to the post: Do you have a XP-3A and flashes the DP-3A firmware or vice versa?

I'm trying to flash an XP-3A and it seems to be flashing XP-3A. After flashing it I disconnect and reconnect and it reads XP-3A.

This does not mean, that it really is an XP-3A.
If it is a DP-3A and you flash it with XP-3A it will respond as XP-3A, but will not react to any input over the servo line, because it has a different pin mapping.
Other reason could be a lost solder joint at the input pin.
Do you have an HighRes image?

Didn't get a very good picture but I did verify the path between the signal input and the mcu is good, using a multimeter.

No I have tried several XP3As and DP3As. I got a 3.5 to work properly. I can redo any of it if it helps us troubleshoot. I've got plenty of escs, flashing tools etc.

If flashing went OK, then there is nothing to reflash.
Pleas do a scope sreenshot of the input signals.

Default 14.3 didn't work on an XP3A maybe others

Achim,

Sorry to be so long to get back to you. I have been very busy.

I just updated an XP3A, that had Blheli version 12.? to 14.3. I imported the settings, too.

It didn't work. But back to 13.2 and it works fine.

Last week or two I was working with some ESCs and I thought it was me! I am not that good at soldering. And I let the smoke out of one. But I have had lots of practice lately. I can see and solder better than I could last year due to vitamins D3 and K2.

I will re-check an XP12, an XP7A and an MX3 that I couldn't make work in these last couple of weeks. I had frustration and lots of soldering practice swapping ESCs and motors.

be well,
Dave

Thanks a lot Dave.
There must be something, I still do not understand. I will do some check with different revisions and setups when there is time left.

cheers
Achim

I'll take a good picture of a 3A tonight so you can check the mapping on it. Thanks for all your help.

OMG! I still can not get any esc to arm! I've done it dozens of times before but I can't seem to get anything to work. I really need some help folks. What info is needed so I can get over this issue. I have plenty of people waiting on me to get this resolved.
