Default DX7 Setup For Video Camera Control

Fellow Freaks:
I am new at this and am having difficulty getting my 4 year older DX7 Heli transmitter (Mode 2) to control the 721 camera on my recently purchased 180 QX multi-rotor. I love the 180 QX! The instruction book isn’t enough help for me.
The camera works if I turn it own manually, push the change button to get into video mode, then press the Go button (triangle) to start recording. The video camera actually does record video on the SD chip. The multi-wire connection (brown wire used as ground) doesn’t seem to do anything using signals from the transmitter.
On my DX7 the pictures and switches don't match the instructions in the booklet. I am using the top-left switch (N, Stunt 1, Stunt 2, switch) as the flap switch.
I use the Gear Switch (top-front-left) for all of the “Gear” references.
And Throttle Hold (top-right) as the mix switch.

Flap System set as:
Norm 100%
Mid 0% This doesn't look right, or I’m using the wrong switch.
Land 100%

Prog.Mix1
Flap -> Gear
Rate -50%
0%
Switch: Mix
Offset: 0

Gear & Mix Switch Positions Switch Positions
Gear 0 : Mix 0 Stability Mode – Low Angle
Gear 1 : Mix 0 Stability Mode – Low High
Gear 1 : Mix 1 Agility mode

The 180 QX flies great, but I can't seem to get the switches set right to control the camera functions.

If anyone has a line by line list of how to set up an older DX7 (Heli) with the 180 QX, I would really appreciate a copy. If not, any help you can provide in gaining transmitter control over the camera would be appreciated.

Default DX7 Heli Version

My DX7 is a heli version and doesn't have a flap switch. The switches on the DX7 airplane version are different. and in different locations. I tried setting the 3 position Flight Mode switch as the Flap switch; however, I don't know how to set up the values. The DX7 is asking for percentages, not an Off/On setting.

Thanks for your response. I just can't match what the 180 QX manual is asking for with the set of switches on my DX7.
