Hello Everyone,
First post, and I've been searching the forums but my question(s) are very specific so I'm not clear on how to proceed. I'm trying to upgrade my MCPX, I got the swashplate and main drive gear installed fine but I stripped out the screw on the feathering shaft. So I went to the local hobby shop and bought a MicroHeli Titanium feathering shaft. I explained to the kid there that I stripped out the screw on the stock feathering shaft and couldn't get any of the washers or bushings out of the stock rotor hub He said that was ok, that I didn't need any of them. I discovered pretty quickly that I needed the rubber bushings at least so chomped away with some pliers until I could get them out, mashing up one of the stock brass washers in the process. So, I can't seem to figure out what I need to get a new rotor hub correctly assembled, I don't know what combination of washers and bearings is necessary and if some play iin the set up is acceptable. I attached a picture, you'll see that there is significant daylight showing between the rotor hub and blade grips. Any suggestions? Thanks! ![]() |

The instructions say that it takes the stock spacers, one on each end. I'm waiting to upgrade mine until the stock grips break, but I can't figure out how to undo the screws to the feathering shaft at all.

You need to use the brass spacers from the stock head/grips. Also the ti feathering shaft its JUNK! It WILL bend on the lightest of crashes.
