Default ICE 100 question

I put the first few break in cycles on my 550 fbl today. Wow what a machine. I have the following setup:

ICE 100 esc
scorpion 4025-1100
17t pinion
520 blades

My graphs look good and Im only spiking just a shade over 100 on occasion. My question is, what kind of spikes can the ICE 100 handle??? I see other graphs where people are spiking up to 170?!?!?! Is this for real?

Also, I have a set of 550 mm blades i havent tried yet. What kind of amperage draw difference can i expect???

Thanks for the help guys!

Guys I was planning on getting an Ice 100 as well but was under the impression that it had a built in BEC.

Holly cow!! That proves the ICE can handle it...

Time for a bigger pinion...or maybe just the 550mm blades for starters.

Thanks man!

It does have a built in BEC but you are better off getting the pro bec. More reliable amperage.

The service bulletin refers to the adhesive that holds the cases together, if it comes loose, the board can short and catch fire.

Just thought I would share the awarness. I found the Brand new unused one for my Outrage 550 Pro is bad, but I havent built the heli yet so, not that big of a deal I guess, it will get repaired by Castle.

Thanks for the heads up.

Mine was loose on one side...of course.

Im not sending it off. I just got the dang thing! I just ran a bead of medium zap down the seem on both sides and re-mounted it with velcro and a loose strap to provide dampening in case there are any vibes at work. Hope that works. It's not stoppin me from flyin tomorrow!

I'll let you know if any fires insue
