300X - DX6i

so tomorrow I will maiden the 300X at work upon arrival

Since I am still on the learning curve....any suggested settings for my DX6i to tame it a bit down ?

i lowered the headspeed on my 450x which slowed it down

About your question: I'm not a true 3D pilot yet and really, I'm just practicing being consistent in my forward/tail-in flights. Pretty much just circuits for me now. The only thing I did is set "Normal" mode up with 85% Dual Rate with 15% Expo and with Idle Up 1, I set 85% Dual Rate with 15% Expo. With the DX8, Idle Up 2 I have 100% Dual Rate with 0% Expo.

Throttle Curve and Pitch Curve is setup as per the maual and throttle curve addendum. No other changes whatsoever. My 300 X flys like a dream to me and I'm not an Expert pilot! I also took out my 450 X last Saturday as well and didn't fly it again after the first Lipo. I just don't have it tuned yet...I'll have to download the AR7200BX manual and adjust the pots.

The 300 X just fits me and no other Heli that I've owned has given me the same feeling... with the exception of the mCPX's that I have but they're flying on 50% Dual Rates and 15% Expo. Not even the Walkera V200D03 could give me the same feeling and it's a similar sized Heli to the 300 X.

Just know that the DX6i has a full page Addendum to the settings in the main manual that you should input into your DX6i transmitter.

How has the weather been there? Lot's of rain here

Here in Malta we have a heat wave....38 to 40C....

Next Friday took it off from work to enjoy the 300x which as you said is much more stable than the 450x
