Question Dominator servo fitting question..

Hi,do you use the brass sleeves that come with the align BL815H servos when fitting them to the frame? It doesn't show them in the instructions!cheers

Yes, I did. If you use grommets, you should use the sleeves. If not, you will over compress the rubber, meaning there was no point fitting the grommet in the first place.

I left the grommets off the elevator servo. Leaving them off makes the pushrod almost perfectly in line with the anit-rotation bracket.

I don't really think they're necessary on electric models, but that's only an opinion. I only fitted them on the aileron servos as it lines the balls up better with the swash.

don't use them on the elevator servo. the grommets allow the servo to rock, because its pushing and pulling against the short side of the servo.

on the pitch servos its pushing and an pulling with the long side of the servo so its ok.

Interesting, I'll have to take a look at my rear servo to see if it rocks.
