Hey folks, thanks for reading.
I need some help with settings, I've noticed as i've gotten more comfortable with my bird that during 3d flight i am NOT getting the proper amount of negative pitch. When hovering upside down i have to pull the stick ALL the way down and it will barely climb, which is very dangerous for tricks. Can anyone help me? The swash is level at mid stick. Do i need to adjust pitch endpoint settings to get it to pitch more? Thanks in advance. -

What does your pitch gauge say? Does is climb fast enough when it's upright? If so it could be that your swash isn't centered properly on the main shaft at mid stick in IU. You may also need to adjust your pitch "range" in the swash menu of your TX.
I would start with a pitch gauge and see were you are at and take it from there. Make sure you are in IU with a linear pitch curve on your TX and remove 2 of the 3 wires from the motor. |

Check that your pitch and throttle curve are bog standard idle-up type settings. Then...
If your heli is flybarred, as gtrsteele says to check is your collective pitch range. It should be even both ways and probably around the region of -10 to 0 to +10. If this range is symmetrical - and hopefully it is - the CCPM pitch variable will need increasing. Don't bother about the sign, just increase the magnitude till you get that range. The other thing that might get you is that your swash should be levelled at the right height for midstick 0 pitch. Check that this is so. I am guessing this is probably not the case but do check. A good eyeball check is your washout arms should be completely flat and if you want to measure, the base of your swash is about 15mm from the plateau on top of the frame whence your mainshaft comes out of. If you have FBL - check the manual, it's probably a matter of adjusting the pitch travel so you have equal pitch both ways, but this may vary from unit to unit - most however will use a 1 90 setup in which case you may need to check your absolute travel for pitch. Note: This is only for FBL 1 90. You do this with CCPM mixing on your radio and you'll mess it up.

are you using b450 or b450 adv profile?
the regular B450 doesn't have the pitchcurve set to 100%, so just switch to the ADV, it goes from 7? to 12 degrees or something. 72.5% iirc.
