The canopies come with dimples clearly marking where they should be drilled out, not a big issue.

Agreed. Put away the drill bits though. In my opinion, nothing like the right tool.

yeah I ordered the reamer for HD and got it today with a new canopy and it made reaming the holes a 10 second job.

I surfed the stores and ended up looking at the V2 canopies. One store page said that the rubber canopy braces (or stands) have to be removed when using V2 canopies? Is this correct and does it affect using the original shaped canopy (if switching between the two)?

yes need to remove it. The shape does not change.

You can cut them down a bit as well, then they still keep their function

i wish the 700 nitro canopies would fit the 700e. i like that point-er look. like the velocity cano's and the 550e cano.
