Default 600sx washout arms, right or left?

Im building another 600sx and noticed that in the manual, the washout arms shows they attatch to the vbar head on the left. but the vbar head I have, the blind hole the washout arms attatch to, is on the right. I understand about the clamping effect the washout bolts do, but why are some on the right and some on the left? most are on the left..does it make a difference? was it a mistake at the factory? will it fly fine either way? thanks..

Mine attaches on the left. But it looks like it would work either way.
Except that it would be pushing the link instead of pulling it.

I read that the manual had an error but I don't think it would make a difference. only that you would have to put the hex screw through the un threaded portion first so that it would clamp the mainshaft. but I have 2 vbar heads and both are for 600sx's but the washout arms deff go on opposite ways for each.

I found the same a long time ago on my early 600sx. I think in some of the first batches, Mikado drilled the head block on the wrong side. If I remember correctly, the instructions showed the normal way but I had to attach the other way to use the clamp effect. There was a bit of a mix up it seems in both instructions and kits for a while.

The only difference I think is that with them turned the other way, the ball joint is attached from the 'wrong' side. I don't know if it stresses it much, but it defenitely needs a little more force to put on. That older head is now on my 550, and I have a newer 600sx (still v1) which has the arms on the normal way, so one of each!

As far as I know, yes. I haven't had a problem.

I remember some people removed the swash balls so they can pop the plastic part in the correct direction then reinstall the balls, but I never bothered. I haven't had a problem yet, but it is a bit annoying from Mikado. I'm not sure why some were drilled on the other side?

The only other thing I thought about is that when they are installed the wrong way round, the trailing edge leads the roatation for CW, which I would think is marginaly more turbulent (I think about these things too much sometimes! ). But I can't notice any difference in flight though until now, it's just odd that they don't pick these things up during manufacturing.
