Now the only question remains, when can I get my grubby hands on one? I have the servos and flybarless unit sitting on the shelf waiting for a Forza 550 (JR servos, of course).

Having said this,im not so sure i want one now,i have just started flying a Forza 700 and i think the Align 700 Dominator flies better.

I also have other 700's a Logo 690,E700 V2,7HV Ult and Protos Max V2.

Im really surprised how the Forza compares.

Forza has Nx 8925s on cyclic nxb89g on tail,V bar Neo with V Control,Jive Pro 120,Pyro 700 56 motor.

V bar Neo on all my 700s,Pyro 700s in Raptor and Logo 690,Align 850MX in Protos and Dominator, Jive Pros in all except Protos which has a Kosmik 200.Align servos in all the others.

Using from 3300 mah to 5000 mah packs.

The Raptor and Logo just pure outfly the Forza, much lighter and crisper on feel and flight performance. The Protos is fantastic but is much heavier but even so does not feel heavy in the air.

The Align Dominator is just awesome, the airframe is 2 years old now, never crashed so all original parts and it flies on rails, very powerful and incredibly sharp and responsive,an absolute joy to fly.

The Forza sorta flys OK,but does not excel in any area, its drivetrain is very noisy, much worse than the Align or Raptors TT drive. The lipo tray is the least easy to use due to guide rails being so far set back into model to line up,the latch looks the least secure and the tray is loose in there unlike all the others which lock solid.Canopy fitting is a nightmare with the cables, all other helis canopies go on easily.

So i think its an OK model, average but against all my other 700s for various reasons its badly lacking, due to weight and layout of electronics i pitch it closely to the Align, the Forza just does not have any wow factor against it.

I am possibly going to drop a Pyro 750 50 i have spare into it,and a Kosmik if that motor needs it to see if that brings anything to the table.
I like the look of the heli and i like the look of the new 550,i really do but i just would not buy one on my experience so far with the 700.

Not wanting to derail this thread though i will be actively looking at other fliers reports on the heli in other sections of the forum as hopefully i am just missing something at the moment.

Thanks for your input.
The canopy is a tad tight but ok if you keep it in mind when wiring the heli.
My battery tray is very tight. Almost overly tight at first. It is breaking in nicely.

What size blades are you running
I am using KBDD EE 710 mm mains.
I have tried 690s but the Heli felt a tad heavy for me with the smaller blades.
I run 2150 with a 12 tooth pinion. KDE XF 535 G3.
Its a unbogable combo with 14 degrees collective. Vbar agility at 98.

Always interesting how the same equipment seems to perform differently for different people.

I have been flying a Forza 700 for over a year now. I find that it has a very quick, nimble feel to it and do not find it lacking in flight performance at all. It is, IMHO, easily more nimble than my Goblin 700 (which also flies quite well).

I am running 690s at present.

I have ordered a 12t pinion for it,i have a Pyro 750 50 to put in it and a Kosmik 160 coming also.

I will fit this upgraded powertrain and try again.

I have been reading the setups thread, thanks for help and input as i want to get this model singing.

Ryan likes the performance of the 710 size blades a little better on his. We have found it seems that for his style 2150 is a good head speed for performance. I will agree the canopy is a little tight but with a little thinking it can be gotton around. One thing that made a big difference was booya mounts. That helped a bunch. On the Vbar one thing that helps is to turn the optimizers up so if frees up the Heli a little. We would do our optimizer flight and then see where they were and raise them proportionally to get what we wanted. Not sure how the neo and vcontrol work on that but should still be able to hook to a computer and set I would think. If you want any help let me know as this Heli should out performs any of those helis you listed

Hello,

Here are some pictures taken by a friend and myself at the Rotor-Live 2016.

The machine fly 6S during show, but can also fly 12S.
the machine lacked power, but it is the fault has too small gear on the test machine.

For the price, we heard the same thing at about 750 €.

(Sorry for my English, it's google translation)

oops, sorry.
The links are not good, I'll look for good

Just a little report back and to thank again for input.

Fitted 700 mains and Pyro 750 with Kosmik has brought the heli to life,so much better now.

Yes I went from a Pyro 700 560 on 11T to a Pyro 750 500 on 12T.

I am running a lower HS(not sure exact figure) but the power and Torque delivery is now incredible, also the cyclic and collective response on the model now is amazingly sharp,i had to turn the Neo Agility and gains down a bit,not sure if the powertrain or the blades did this but very very impressed now,,its like a different heli and much more how I imagined it would fly.

Also to add the colour scheme looks incredible against a nice Blue sky.

I am now ready for the Forza 550 100%
