Question DX9 transmitter stand??????

Do any of you guys know if someone is making transmitter stands for the DX9 yet? I have one that I got from Espritmodel.com on my DX7 and really like it.
http://www.espritmodel.com/transmitt...nd-single.aspx
I would like to find one for my DX9.

TIA.

Default DX9 Stand

Sorry to revive an old question/thread but has anybody managed to source a stand for these transmitters?

I havent seen one yet that is acceptable for the DX9. Remember that there is an active antenna inside the handle. Anything metal attached to the handle could effect RF performance. It would need to be plastic of some kind.

Good point on the handle, but I haven't seen a stand available yet.

Does anyone have an update?

I'll surf around every once in a while and I still haven't seen anything.

Same here - I spent 30 minutes looking on Friday and found nothing.

Perhaps this isn't something the consumer wants.

Although, I thought the DX9 was very popular - I bet a carbon fiber stand would do the job and not create any interference with the antenna in the handle.

Carbon fiber does interfere with radio signals if it covers/blocks the antenna, so stay away from that!

Awesome. Didn't know that. So.....what does that leave? Plastic?

Anyone want to make a plastic transmitter stand for the Spektrum DX9?

Honestly, I'm surprised Horizon doesn't offer this.

Very Nice!

Now you just need to add a hinge so that it folds along the handle.
