I need a little help here. Bought a Turnigy dlux 160A HV 6-12S LiPo ESC for my Assault 700 build. I can't get it to do anything.

Tried using the programming box from HK and it simply does nothing. Tried powering the program box independently and the screen lights but the display is very hard to read except a sharp angle. The ESC doesn't beep at all. I ordered another and it's the same deal. I doubt I would get 2 bad ones in a row so it's probably something I'm doing wrong.

Anyone have any experience with these particular ESC's?

What kind of radio are you using? Do you have the radio rebound with the new esc? The esc might need to get some type of signal from the radio to initialize!

Keep in mind you won't hear any beeps without a motor connected. The beeps come from the motor, not the esc. So make sure a motor is connected and all blades are off or it's backed away from the main gear.

Also if you google "how to program Turnigy dlux 160A HV" you will get a plethora of hits including videos.
