Lynx copolymer skids
Was wondering what people thought of the lynx ultralight copolymer skids for the nano on helidirect. Durable? Stable take offs and landings? Battery stay in well or fall out? People that have tried them, are they worth the money??

Hey I just bought this last week. Got it last night. First thing I noticed was that the studs that are pushed into the frame were too big. Had to sand it down to fit. Took it out for a flights and one of the studs broke off into the frame after a little hard landing, nothing in comparison to what Ive put the stock ones through. In total it broken in less than 15 mins of me getting it. I would say stick to the stock or something else.

I had the same issue with the tip of the skid. The material is really brittle, but holds together really well with CA

As cool as they look, they are brittle because they are 3D printed. I think they are actually of German design and sold by Lynx if I'm not mistaken as I've originally seen these advertised by a German web site along with a frame and the spider-weber looking canopy. I think they were going with light-weight and thought the 3D material would be pretty light.
Sadly, it is light-weight but also brittle do to the properties of the 3D printed material. I was going to order a set, but reading about how fragile they are I'll pass.

I recently modified a KBDD mCPX LG to fit the nCPX...
Cut out the top center cross-support and hold it together with (2) shrink-wrap Holds the 1S 45c stock battery just fine and durable as anything I've ever used |

They look great, but break extremely easily, the pair in the attached pic disintegrated after TH and a three foot drop onto the carpet...falls stock skids survived repeatedly.
