Default MiniV equiped G5

So I purchased a used G5 and promptly stripped it and rebuilt her. She now sports:
G5 Flybarless Head, Mikado MiniV Blue 5.0, JR DS285mg on cyclic, and a JR DS3500G on the tail using a Spektrum satellite. Hopefully will get a chance to maiden her tommorow.

Enjoy!

Let me know how the DS285's work out. When I was building my FBL G5 I was told that they didn't have enough torque for FBl.

Maidened her today and its fantastic! The 285s are far smoother than my 5065's and feel quite a bit quicker oddly enough. Tail is fantastic and the vbar is simply amazing. Extremely stable. Guys who saw it fly thought it was the most stable flying 450 they had ever seen. I am inclined to agree.

Easy to setup, easy and smooth flying very happy with my choices.

Jr 285s 17oz @ 4.8 vs 5065's 21oz @ 4.8 not much diff. Also many Rave 450 guys fly 285s.

Do you find that the 3500G is a noisy servo? The reason that I ask is that I have the 3400G on my Mini Titan and it sounds much different than the 3500G.

no the 3500g is not noisy at all. Had a 9257 on before it and sounds pretty similar to me.
