time for new charger

Ok im coming from a 206b now im about to get the pl6 or pl8 so my question is do u actually get the full 1300+ watts out of the pl8 while charging 6s lipo or do you have to have 8s packs to get the full 1300+ watts
Ps an I already have my 24v power supply rated at 75 amps please help guys

Maximum output current is 40 amps. Multiply that times 6s voltage (25.2v) and you get 1008 watts. I do it all the time and it rocks to have that much current on tap. Four 6s packs in parallel at 3c each. My flying can't keep up with one of my Powerlabs, let alone both of them.

So greg is it a waste of time to get the pl8 since im only getting 1k watts on a 6s lipo

For 6s take a look at the Powerlab6. Even charging 6s, the Powerlab8 has advantages over the Powerlab6, detailed here:
