Default to much neg pitch feel

in my 6HV ult , tic toc drift away , rolls are off [have to be carefull to not give too much neg pit] , compared to my Atom500 which seems very neutral . i've gone over the setup , zero pitch @ arms 90, 12 deg. pitch up & down, travels set 115/115 in tx 20 deg expo on swash.

not sure what to do next, just disconcerting going from one heli to the other,

thanks for any suggestions..

I run four different size disc equipped helis. It takes time and practice to get used to the timing of when to 'hit' the gimbals during movements with larger discs compared to their smaller more nimble counter parts. Also pay very close attention to your cog, and make absolutely sure your swash is level. Bottom travel, middle, and top. Then run your gain and cyclic control rates as high as you can. My helis are very nervous feeling compared to most the guys I fly with.

Another exp I can give is the disk sees more air when using negative pitch: in positive the body of the heli blocks the air. Hence in negative you get more lift. add to that the fact that the negative movement is more natural to most of us.

what i do is set my positive pitch between 0.5-1 deg more than the negative. I do it in the Tx by limiting the bottom of the pitch curve (easier than changing the travels).
