It was a good deal...so the different rate what does it mean...the higher rate mean longer range but more power used?

Gotcha. Also, I have the receiver in my cart now, but before I hit order I need to know if it requires an extra battery. Saw something about it needing a 4.8v 1100mah battery. Just making sure before I also order the 450 3GX and Devo receiver only to find out I need a battery or am not able to fit the extra battery.

You don't need an extra battery. Just plug the power cable from the 3GX unit to the aux3 channel on the reciver and it will power up. Don't plug it in the "batt" socket on the reciver. Then it won't bind. The power cable is included in the 450 package.

I got my heli ...wow maybe it's cause I never really saw other helis before but this thing is awesome..did have to put a sock in the conopy cause it was warped bad but what can you expect being in a plane where it's all hot for shipping... 15 of the sock in there and a blow dryer and 100% perfect

Better Twin, We will have to stay in touch while we are both doing the build and set-up since we are both using devo systems!

I'm waiting on my rx...got it from oomodels for a good price and wanted not to rush the build...so far I think three people now have done it ...from what they are saying just plug the batt in aux 3 not the batt port

I'm waiting for my reciever and the heli. The receiver will probably come in Friday and the heli might come in friday to the hobby shop but I'll be out of town this weekend. Probably will take Monday off though and work on the build if everything is in.

You sound like you are coming down with a bad case of the 'heli flu'.

You should take a couple of days off to get over it.

Take two kits worth of parts and call me when assembled.

Don't we all have the 'heli flu'?

Sorry, didn't have internet access during the last days.

@inner3: Yes, I've got the combination T-Rex 550E with Devo 8 working.

@thebettertwin: Till now I haven't had enough time for the update to version 2.
Maybe next week.

Question

Remember my post before about being a Helicoholic? I was recovering, but went to the fun fly and started kit abuse again. Maybe this will be it for awhile!

Enjoy it we are all hooked here. So I guess you're getting one with a belt. I got the new frame finished up assembling pretty quick an tested it. Everything seems ok now Maybe I will get a Tarot FBL 450 pro. They are alittle cheaper an use the 802 rx probably this summer. For now I will be fly my 200 it hovers real smooth can't until sun comes up. p.s. I like the blade 300X right in my size group.

I'm pretty sure it is the torque tube which has more power. Hopefully I'll begin assembly next week.
