Setup ideas
Hi All,
This seems like a good place to pose to all of you the following question. I've been flying Trex 500 helis for a while and have lots of 6S 3000 batteries and chargers that work well at this size. I would like to buy a synergy heli that can fly two of these batteries in a 12S setup. I would like to hear recommendations as to setups all of you think would be good for someone who likes mild 3D. Also, I'm confused over how to build an "E6". Seems that you can buy an E5 and stretch it to fly 600mm blades. But it also seems that some people buy the E7 and then just fly smaller blades and call it an E6. Can someone provide clarity? Thanks Michael |

I think with those batteries, your best choice would be an E5 stretched to 600. There is a kit available with everything you need to stretch it.
Synergy E5s 600mm Stretch Kit [999-102] - $38.00 : Synergy Distribution, Serving the Synergy Enthusiast The E5 is fantastic as a 600. Later, if you want to run it with larger batteries, you can stretch it to run 626 blades or even 700. I have mine stretched and run 716 mains and use 4400mah packs. It's a very versatile air frame.
