The only little difference in the long run as my friend who owns a calibration company would have said, is that they probably calibrate their wrench to more accurate tolerance than they do with our hand held screw driver LOL

I part with the side of not screwing to the end too but not for the same reasoning. My reason is human error, mine. I have on a few occasion used my adjustable Makita screwdriver with the setting too high, because I did not pay attention to it, with disastrous results: a sheared screw.

So if you are not absent minded like me no problem if you are, beware, better use your hand at the end just to make sure.

Too funny!!! I did the exact thing ONE TIME... now I check it before each and every use!

This Makita has a clutch that works like a champ. Not a buzzy slip thing like most, but the motor stops when the torque is reached. Also the torque range is perfect for RC heli stuff.

Down side is it is hard to find and expensive.
