Default do I need the boom support brace / not included in kit

fellas help me decide on the need for that brace.. you know, the brace that connects the two boom support rods.
the kit didn't supply one and I see Outrage now sells the brace separately.

Does it satisfy some specific need? What and how does it help?

You don't need it at all. But I just ordered one.

OK... may I ask why you ordered one? What good is it?

I just want to know what it is supposed to do, maybe lesson vibration?

it just decreases the chance that an oscilation sets up in the boom supports. by shortening the un supported length it drives the frequency at which it would from a harmonic up

If you dont see them as a blur when hovering dont worry about it. if u have that much vibration u have bigger problems

It's the cheapest of the few upgrades for the fusion. I like the look. Just in case a bolt let's go on the boom supports they won't be dangling from the heli.

no vibrations, just curious as to what they do.
you answered my question regarding frequency of vibration (regarding unsupported length).

michael- yes I DID have another heli with dangling rod create a landing problem. THANKS

sly- the velcro strap is a cheap and easy substitute. THANKS

As it tends to slip up I use a zip tie tight and trimmed on each support.
