Hey guys I am torn between a few helis and need some advice.....

Currently I have a Trex 550 fbl with a beastx unit and I am also flying a mcpx (or course). I have been loving the big bird but I have decided that I would like a 450 size heli as well to fly in smaller areas.

Ok so I want to stick with FBL and also want to stick with the beastx unit. So now I can get the align 450 pro v2 and sell the 3gx and get the beastx. Or I can gamble and try out the new blade 450x when it comes out.

I figured the numbers and after I sell the 3gx and get a beastx and a receiver for the Trex 450 it is going to cost me around 600 bucks. Maybe a little more. But I can get the 450x from ampdraw for like 405 bucks.

What should I do????? I like the quality of align but that beastx combo unit on the blade 450x is tempting. Especially at that price.....

its a 450 pro combo with a beastx system and its setup for 6cell so a 1300mah 6cell is perfect and best of all you can parallel them and use them on your 550 as a 2600 6cell pack (win win for you)

What's the quality like of this bird? I was kinda wanting to stay with a mainstream brand, but I will have to do some research in this one. Thanks for the info!

seems like a decent clone havent flown one yet but just from the specs and what I know of the clones i've flown its not bad

if in doubt get a nice tarot clone fbl

It sounds like you might be quite an experienced and/or committed flyer. Why not try something like the the MHS mini Protos or Furion or Rave, these are the top of the line 450s. Don't get me wrong, the Aligns are excellent (I have 2x 450s) but having looked at things like the mini Protos, my mouth begins to drool. I have spoken to one person who has flown pretty much all of the 450s (works for a heli shop so is lucky in this respect) and he reckoned that the Protos was at the top of its league. Just a thought. As for the Blade, from my experience, having owned a 400, they are no where near the same quality as the Align and I don't think they are supposed to be, they are much more of an entry level CP heli. Im not sure of the 450x as haven't seen one yet but my vote on these two would be the Align.

I have a 500 and recently decided to get a 450 pro and will be truithfull absolutly love my clone 450 pro carbon, something realy nice about flying a smaller heli, plus hopeup parts are realy cheap and of course spares are realy cheap, the 450 pro is so well balanced, some much better to fly than my 500, you wont regret the decision to get one.
