Please help us welcome the newest member of Team Gaui, Mr. Allan Austria. Allan won the IAN competition at IRCHA this year. For those of you that don't know, this is the third year that we have hosted the IRCHA Amateur Nationals and the winner becomes our newest team member.

Allan went home to sunny Florida with an X5 and set right to work. Here is his video and his comments that he emailed me last night. Great guy and his father is too!

I just wanted to let you that I maidened X5 this morning. I've got to say man, this helicopter flies AMAZING. I am thoroughly impressed with this machine, it flies better than my 700! We were able to get a video of the 4th flight. Here is the link:

Thanks GCan't let you guys have all the rain Every Saturday has had rain of some sort lately. Weather is perfect whilst i'm at work though The X5 just stirred the atmosphere so much it pulled them all together Came over very quick but was a fun arvo full of laughs. Hopefully will start pushing myself a bit more.Just have to find a way to get more flying in. I'm really starting to enjoy getting vids done even if only basic.
On of my vids has made it onto rc heli resource yesterday. Well one i took of one of the fellas i fly with. They must have missed seeing my flying ones

Hey everyone......I just purchesed this x5 from another hf member, it's my 6th flight, the video is pretty bad, but if you make it big you can sorta see whats going on. I've been flying for amost a year.....this is a big step up from a blade 400

Hey. Fellow Canadian and X5 flyer . Awesome flying! I am more than a year now with this hobby but still can't fly like what you did in the vid. Keep it up.

Yup, a ittle more zoom will be nice. Can't see much when it is way up there. But still good to watch.
