Pantera 50 - P6?
Hi guys, I'm buying a nib Pantera 50, do you guys have any recommendations as far as parts to upgrade to a P6, or just let 'er rip? I'm torn as to if I want to upgrade to FBL as I have a spare 7200bx but I thought if I ever get the itch to try a F3C contest I need the flybar. My first heli was FBL and I really liked it, but I have a blade 500 3D that is flybarred and I have really gotten to like it after a few tweaks. Also, what blades do you guys like on the Pantera? I fly big smooth (try anyway) aerobatics as well as some 3D, but I'm certainly no pro. Any advice you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much,
Eric |

I'd say build it and fly it as is. Then if you want to tweak it to FBL you can easily do that with minor changes to the head (check with John Beach on how to do this). As far as blades, John has some and I generally fly the cheapest CF blades I can find that have a reputation for balancing well. I'm a sport flyer and do some mild 3D when I'm getting the stick time.

Take your time and do it right. Easier to do it the way you intend/correct the first time than to re-do it later
If you have questions or such just ask. Our community is pretty good for helping. Jer
