I forget which servo a 601 comes with but the 611 comes with a 9256. YOU MUST use the servo the gyro comes with and NO you cant use those gyro servos for cyclic. If you want Futaba a 9252 is a good servo for a good price. There are many other good choice (too much to list). I went with the hitec 6975's becasue i had them and they have GREAT specs. Either a 601 or a 611 be sure to use the supplied Align 5.1 volt gyro servo regulator!!! Bob

ok bob this is how you get rid of ants
get a plate or an old container fill it with honey and food scraps and all kinds of good mushy ant stuff then hide it under one of your neighbours trees or shrubs then get some of that outdoor surface spray, a few cans worth, and all around the area you want to have them stay out, just unload and saturate the area with it a few ant baits in strategic spots will help to be vigilent and let them know who house they are unwelcome in and whos house is ant freindly there are never any ants allowed any where near my house i hate them try my suggestions even if you dont want to bait your neighbours house you can still leave them an offering in an area that you dont mind them being trust me it works :glasses2: |

I have had a problem with ants from time to time around my kitchen sink area.....................cleaned and cleaned till my hands were bleeding with no sucess!!
A friend let me know of a simple solution that works 100% for me at least.......................... Go buy a couple of oranges.......any kind will do..............peel them...........eat the oranges................leave the "peelings" laying around the area where your ants are a problem over night. When I did this, I woke up the next morning to find all the ants laying dead all around the peelings! Seems they love the flavor but the peelings somehow kill them? Like I said, it has worked perfectly for me at least.................and oranges are good for ya too........ Lenny

Really enjoyed the TRex 600 build. I currently have two 60 Robbe Schluter Futura SE. But with the cost of fuel going up and my complete inability to keep a motor running right I'm developing a real hype for electric. Over the year there has being grate improvements and now with this 50 size bird I'm ready to make the switch. I don't want to give up any of the quality that I have my SE. So I could use help in making a good choice in getting into electric. Hope to see a post of your revue of the Trex 600 with comment on flight time.
Also this in my first time on this type chat so not really sure how it all works |

Ok, I did my first 2 flights today with the 600, and thanks to the build video's I had no issues, the heli flew great and very predictable.
The first flight was 3 minutes to check blade track (which was perfect) and sub trim the heli (just a few clicks needed). I did shorten the links from swash to seesaw to 36mm as suggested by Bob. The second flight was in iddle up 2 with mild 3D, the lipo's barely got warm after 5 minutes (Xcell 4900 6S1P). My tail slider 'problem' turned out to be no problem at all, the screw goes in just fine, I'm guessing there are 2 bearings in there with a little space in-between. One more question, on page 9 you can see that there is room for 2 extra socket screws with M3 nut in the tail boom case (next to the tail drive gear bearings). They are not needed? Thanks again for the effort! |

I pointed that out to Andy Yu and he said Align doesnt feel that bolt and nut are neccessary. However I plan to put one in there myself!

Yep..... I am at work right now but later this afternoon I will be posting some vids.
Bottom line the Trex600 flys SWEET! It tracks really well, is quick on cyclic, and is probably on of the best flying 50 sized heli's out there. Right there if not better than my Sceadu 50. I am very impressed with it. Anyway I will be posting a vid of Ian Crane flying that lays down some AWESOME 3D on the 600 Bob

I Finless, first let me say that I’m really newbie on this hobby, and this videos have really help me a lot understanding some build doubts.
But now only some really important videos are missing how to setup the radio + helicopter, “pitch and throttle curves for normal, idle-up1 idle-up2, how to use a pitch gauge, tail setup, end points, gyro mode, main blade pitch etc”, all the necessary configuration, to start flying. I’m asking this, because more I read over the internet about this matter; I get more confused how to setup my helicopter correctly. Finless can you do this, I know that each helicopter pilot uses is won configuration, but teaches us how you do it. I think this will be a huge help for me and all the newbie’s out there. |
