Merry Christmas and Happy 2017

Well, it seems the Belt CP forum is slowly grinding to halt, but still refuses to die. Just a few of the original members left now, but to all who still drop in, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year

I would certainly describe myself as a member who just visits on a regular, is not so often, basis, but haven't posted very often. So here's a quick update. I'm still flying RC helis, quads and fixed wing, but not as much as before. A few causes for that being the often poor weather, and the fact that our club lost access to our flying field. Also I was spending time working on full-size flying, as I mentioned a while back. Well, that was successful, as I earned my helicopter private pilot's license in July this year. I now have just over 100 hours logged, some in the R44, mostly in the R22, about 35 of those solo. Learning to fly a helicopter is something I've wanted to do for many years, so now that I've done it, I consider 2106 to have been a pretty successful year

So let's have a quick update on what everyone else has been up to.

And again, Merry Christmas, and may 2017 be the year you achieve one or more of your long-term goals!

Not much progress to report here. Had very few flights this year, relatively speaking, so simply hoping for a few more next year.

Never really wish for much, nothing to wish for, but more flying seems reasonable.
