Default servo arrangement question

Ive been flying for about 9 months now " building included" and Ive always had one major question about servo arrangements. basically ive always had some heli's set up and flying and my new builds ive just copied the setups. I have a warp 360, Proti, ive had blade 360, 300 so on. all 120 deg, im guessing thats pretty standard on 3d helis. anyway.

Aileron, elevator,pitch and rudder or CH1 CH2 CH3 CH4 depending on your FBL unit

rudder= duh

but the others lets say your swash is like this... Y.... nose pointed up for this example.this is like my warp.. what is the left upper servo ... right upper and bottom?

and like my protos "upside down Y"

Ok well.. talked with a buddy.. apparently Gpro lays it out FLAWLESSLY .. I figure ill just apply it to spektrum.. but is there a rule that applies channels to aileron elev pitch aux rudder?

like channel 1 is universally known as " lets say aileron?"

For a 3 servo swash, usually, 1 servo is in line with the center of the heli. This one is usually elevator.

The other 2 are aileron and pitch (take your pick).

I think of them as CH1, CH2 and CH3. I find the one that does not move when I waggle the aileron, and that is the elevator. The other 2 (aileron and pitch) I swap if required.

With a FBL:
- If your unit has specifics for input, make sure those are done first and never altered (eg. BD3SX).
- Make sure tilt compensation works as expected.
- Make sure piro compensation works as expected.
- Make sure the swash moves the blades as expected (eg. For a 450X, swash down is increase positive pitch (tailing edge grip arms), for an X5, swash down is negative pitch (leading edge grip arms), confirm movement with blades, not swash).

Hope this all makes sense.
