This is a complete digital drum kit. It contains a drum module for using as a drum kit and a PS3 module for using on games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. It is Rock Band 3 ready.

You get kit Frame, Snare, Tom (1,2 and 3), Crash, Ride, High Hat, Kick, High Hat Pedal, Chain Driven Kick Pedal, Drum Thone, Drum Kit Module, PS3 Module, Sticks, all wiring and mounting hardware.

This is a very nice learning setup. The Drum Module itself has preprogrammed music that lets you play the drum track while it lights up and shows you what to play. The way I like best is hooking the PS3 module to the game but not the kit. I select a song and play in practice mode, which plays the song but not the drum track. I play the drum kit along with it so Im actually playing the complete drum track.

Heres an example of what Im referring to. Im not a a drummer.. do not claim to be... so you will see me mess up. This is however on my first week of attempting to play drums.
The percussion you hear is the drum kit being played by me and not the game. The game is simply playing the rest of the song.

Good job on playing. Better than what I can do. Qucik question, can this set up be hooked up to a set speakers and be played by itself?

Yes it is a full blow digital drum kit. The drum sounds you hear are not from the game. They are coming directly from the kit, through the output jacks.. which can be hooked to your stereo.
