Default Getting back into helis with a mCP X?

I used to be big into helis but life got in the way with a job, house, got into the show car/ drag racing scene, etc LOL. I never sold anything off so I still have my 450 SE V2, Hirobo shuttle Z, Blade Cp, and Phenox sim. I wanted somthing to keep me occupied this winter and wanted to do some flying indoors and maybe in the garage. I've been flying the sim a lot and apparently still have the ability so training isnt an issue. I was wondering if the mCP X was a good indoor bird if I keep it brushed and what the differences between the V1 and V2 were?

The mcpx is a great little heli and I think it would hone your skills .I think it is a bit much for house flying for the average flier...With tame radio settings it is fine for hovering and maybe slow circuits around a room..But it does tend to make that room feel small ...

It shouldn't make the room feel any smaller than flying my 450 in the living room (be easy on me safety Nazis lol). What are the differences between the V1& the V2? Is the V2 worth the extra cash? I'm considering holding out until I find a used one on here or ebay.

My only experience with the v2 is ,I bought a v2 board to do a scratch build brushless bird. Some say it is more stable but I found it to be very sensitive to vibes..I put it on my sons stock bird and it flies fine.On the stock bird I can't really tell any difference between v1 and v2..The only other difference I know is the v2 bird comes with the "grommet mod" already done...
