Default trex skid

just got some trex 450 skids to use with the stock skid pipe , they seem a bit stronger than stock, i made the holes for the two screws from the skids to the pipe and they are on good . then noticed there was some movement the trex 450 skid with the stock pipe is not as tight as it should be , if i dont come up with an idea to stop the movement it will casue vibration problems.

If you are using 450 skids you will need to use 450 pipes. The 400 pipes will be too loose in the 450 skids.

yep they are loose i used the two stock screws and made my own holes in the trex skids, then i put some electrical tape round to stock pipe just enough to tighten it up seems to have done the trick

Shame you didn't go for the Rex500 skids, a lot stronger and give the bird some height also looks butch

I have the 450 skids with 400 pipes...just drill some small holes on the inside of the skids and use some tiny screws to hold them on. You wont be able to see the screws and the pipes will be tight. The 450 skids give the 400 the perfect height...not too big and not too small.
