Default gathering parts need advice

Im getting all the components for my e5 build. I have a scorpion 4025-1100. I plan on running 6s for now. Although i may switch to 12s down the road.I will be running a separate rx pack. I thought i was going to run a YEP120hv but was told a YEP80hv would be plenty. Is that true? I'm sure I will have more questions along the way. Thanks in advance.

On 12s an 80amp ESC is fine but on 6s you'll want the 120.

Agreed. 6s systems pull 120 to 130 amps easy. I would do the 120 and be safe for both 6s and 12s

sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Also , if you are going to run the YEP on 6s, get the 150,extra $6, it's added security if they are slightly over rated. I run the 150 on mine at the advice of another pilot who had the 120 on his Goblin 500 and would frequently shut it down from hard smack. Switched to the 150 and no problems. JMHO
