Thank you guys for such a GREAT event! I cannot wait for next year, for all those that didn't come out you need to make it a MUST to get there next time. See you all next year.

Between the pro pilots, night flying, and raffles it is a go-to event. Just really something else, spot light flying was rediculous. Really enjoyed Kyle Stacy's lit up Goblin - that was certianly a flight that was awesome. Again thank you for hosting an awesome weekend!

I was impressed with how many very skilled non-sponsored pilots there were at the event this year. Sometimes it was hard to tell whether the person flying was a pro or not.

In got this from the Guiness World record web site,

The most radio controlled helicopters airborne at the same time was 31 and was achieved by the Radio Controlled Helicopter Association at the Eagles RC Helicopter Club in Lincolnshire, UK, on 19 September 2010.
All the helicopters were airborne for over a minute and landed safely.

Has anyone heard of the actual number that were airborne this time?

This was a really cool event. The world record hover was insane and I'm still amazed there wasn't any issues and everybody landed safely. I never saw night flying before so that was also quite a sight to behold, especially the tandem night flying. I think the biggest thing that surprised me was the difference between Saturday and Sunday. We were flying mostly at the left end of the main flight line on Saturday afternoon and waiting for 10 people to fly before you was normal, but on Sunday afternoon there was literally nobody else flying down there. So I easily got in 10 flights on Sunday before we left at 3pm

Thanks to the NEHC club for hosting the event, this was my first year there and I definitely plan on being back next year.

Yes but Raja can't tell the difference between an 8 minute flight and a 30 minute flight if you know what I mean.

Our guys are reviewing the tapes, not an easy task. As soon as we verify the results we will post them.
Thanks to everyone who took part. It was an impressive site to be sure.

I didn't even think of looking in the Event forum! I posted a thread with some pics and video of Bert on the main forum in case anyone missed it. Had a fantastic time! That World Record attempt was great. I had the misfortune of not having any packs charged when they went for it, but my buddy let me borrow his 450Pro and I just made it to the flight line before we started!

LMAO!! Hey, I don't think Igor's rubber chicken has landed yet. I tried to take a video of it being destroyed by Mark's 700N but it just didn't come out. All you hear is a BANG!!! That thing must be in a million tiny pieces.

PS: Long live the flybar!

PPS: If any of you locals find a rubber chicken somewhere on the field, cherish it dearly... its the fastest rubber chicken in the planet (or at least in the northeastern United States).

Here's my video of the Guinness World Record attempt. If you can spot your heli, leave a comment on youtube.

I will try to post a link to the video from the multi rotor when the pilot uploads it.
