UMX beast problems...anyone else?

This is the third time i've have a Beast crap out on me. 1st time a servo went bad, so i called horizon and they sent me a new receiver. I installed the receiver and ground tested, everything was ok. Then i take it up and i lose rudder control mid turn, causing a crash and destroying my wing. call horizon again, and they send me a new plane. New plane flies great for ~3 weeks, until yesterday BAM no elevator, in the middle of flight. manage to bring it down unharmed ( i was slowing down to land anyway). so now my elevator just plain doesnt work.

Dont get me wrong, through the whole process i've been very pleased with horizon's customer service (i dont work for them). but what i'm wondering is...is this normal? is the beast prone to this kind of receiver error? does this happen often in RC? should i continue with the beast, or try something new?

This is my 2nd in a mouth that doesn't work fist one plane did not work only motor an ruder moved an gyro moved stuff then 2nd one when you push left flips go up you push right flap go down! If you reverse it just does the opposite.. No turning flaps

Well ive got a crap ton of UM including 2 Beasts. Never had an issue with any of them failing like that. Ive had a binding issue a couple times but thats it. Its unfortunate to have 2 in a row, i would figure if these planes were problematic we would hear a lot more complaints here. Hang tight and Horizon will take care of you. Just sucks you cant fly.

I'm with rpheliman. I have quite a few UMs and UMXs. The only problem I've had is a dead motor on my UMX Sbach out of the box. I had a new one from HH 2 days later all has been fine. Here is a pic showing all my small planes:

The elevator servo stop working 3 different times causing major damage to my beast. It happened in less then 20 flights.

I am guessing this is the 3d beast?? the first beast not been out for a while now but i do have the first beast so does my father not that we have tons of flights but would say 30 each plane no issues at all. I not had issues with any of my micros. i have had the champ, umx extra 3d, Su-26, sorry your having bad time with it
