Default SAB Batch #2 - Which corrections are included in this kit?

Does anyone know if these kits contain all known fixes to date?

Shaft bolt failures - Sholder bolts
Tail boom clearance (145 mm between boom and blades at 0 degrees)
Pulley failures
Tail boom - paint quality issues
Skids - paint quality issues

Am I missing any known issues corrected by SAB? Please add to this thread.

I'm scheduled to receive mine this Friday. It would be nice if SAB provides a note in the kits on which parts have been updated. I will know shortly and post my findings. For those of you receiving batch #2, please share your findings.

From the obvious difference of the newly designed tail pulleys, how do you know if it has the new Sholder bolts reported in previous threads?

Many kudos to Windwizard for the awesome Project build details thread
I'll be using your notes as a reference as we build.

Luis

Luis,

When you get it, PM me and let me know what was corrected. I have really been having a hard time getting the fixed parts out of HD.

According to our distro, all issues have been corrected in the second batch. Pulleys, bolts and the boom misalignment. Maybe my two TDRs will get a green brother now!!!!

The shoulder screws are not in this batch of kits yet. SAB is getting them made but it is not a standard size shoulder screw available off the shelf so they are waiting on delivery.
The Align ones are made for them specifically so they are not something SAB can buy. Rotorquest is buying a bunch of the Align ones for customers that purchased a Goblin from him and should have them in next week. Depending how many come in they will be available on the website as well for anyone that needs them.

Can someone post the size of the bolts? A link to a suitable replacement will help also.

Thanks,

Luis

Will do. You coming to our Fun Fly in October? Sorry you couldn't make the Austin Heli Fest. Raymond won the 3D Non Sponsored event.

The main item holding up the kit shipments has been the blades. HeliDirect is the largest volume distributor so in order to try and fulfill some of the backorders I think they have elected to receive kits without the mains and tails. Its is not because SAB forgot or mispackaged. I think most people would be happy to just get their kit and then get the blades later when available so at least they have something to build and fly.
I picked up a kit at Rotorquest yesterday for one of the team pilots and opened a few boxes to check on the canopies and booms. All of his shipment does have the blades in the box.
I like the new canopy and boom designs and quality a little better as well. Still glad I got my first batch kit though, I have no patience or willpower.
