Default gjive flight vids

been flying alot, had my wife with me so was able to catch a flight on film, from both views

these are the same flight

When you see people walk across the runway after i land is people that crashed. this place is scary on the weekends. during the week we take turns, weekends are free for alls.

went back this morning.... the old guys gave me the field and i took advantage of practicing shooting touch and goes. It's a weird ass approach

Gonna go back in the morning and practice my 2 flight packs,,,,, again

The next set i made i took it way the hell up and did an approach, had a hell of a view of the place.

thanks ken.

I recently had some downtime so i mounted my go pro inside my little gjive and had my wife come film it. Bought some real editing software so i could make it a little funner to watch. I also turned the tail/OWB over so i can get more practice for my other birds through this one. This was the second time flying it CCW, probably 10th time ever. It's weird, even ff is affected. It seems to work better for me with the pattern in this direction. First flight with ccw on this thing i just about wadded it up, maybe i'll upload it. Scared the crap outta me. Also had to use idle2 to get enough head speed to fly it, forgot the pitch was still +-10 degrees. I'd never hit idle up little lone gone to idle2. Adjusted that and she came back to feeling like the old gal.

Enjoy.....

That is pretty sweet with the Go Pro mounted in it. You cease to amaze me.

Got me looking at Go Pro or other cameras like that now. Thanks Steve

thanks bro, having a blast with that little crappy sport scale of mine. Awesome practice machine, cheap to run and when i go to the field to practice, got 10 flights worth in the box. 80-85 minutes in the air is alot for me at a time

Gonna drag this to Scale Masters in sac next month, gonna make for some fun footage.

Tried getting a gopro mount in GRAPD but i took too much of the frame off for the cockpit..... would look bitchen looking over the shoulder of a pilot with all the cockpit.....

Try one of those keychain cameras. $14 off ebay and the video is pretty good at 720.

$40? I paid $14 about a year ago. No clock displayed, 720 res, removable micro SD card.

Flying? Haven't flown since Miramar... Been too friggin' busy... I really need to fly the paint guns.. I've got 3 lids in basecoat I want to get done!

when you get done with them, swing by and grab another handful, got 18 canos and 3 big scale to work on,,,,,,,, but i'm still flying 2-3 days a week. Have to, trying to win a turbine kit from starwood or vario in a month.

I'll be up there shortly to maiden a couple radikals for members i turned onto "the" deal. One came back with a Toxic Racing motor, looking forward to seeing what that's all about

i was just getting another keychain cam and see the diff between mine and yours. You got 720x480..... the $40 and up versions are 720p, that's 1280x720 true hd...... they also record in mp4 using h.264 compression, the modern one that makes semi small files outta them big movies. Got 2 more and another 64 gigs of memory. Find them keychains get about 1 hour at most film time, so charging them has become my next priority. just a 1s lipo, gonna make an adapter to the charger for a quick charge.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=160595298525

that's the one above in post 1, got 2 more coming

Dammit, now you're gonna make me buy another one!!!!

No joy on paiting right now.. I was hoping to shoot some color this morning before the wind came up, but it's windy and drizzly (Hello? Summer?? WTF?) right now...

Maybe later this afternoon or evening. I'm thinking HoK "Sunset Pearl" for a couple of 'em...

You gonna bring your birds to the HF FF up at Palomar in October? I won't forget my camcorder this time.
