I would stick with the Apex packs same price, already proven to be decent.
you can get 2 x Apex 15C 2100 mah for $78

only in my opinion on this I would not do business with HD ever again, due to very very poor customer service from Steve

From personal experience, I have nothing but praise for the guys at helidirect, as with any business they cannot please all the people all of the time, as is evident from some postings i have read, but in my experience at least they try. I have made quite a few orders from steve and items are always shipped fast and they have always responded to any emails i have sent within an hour.

My last order included the megapower pack, at the price i figured it would be worth a try. I had an apex15c battery lose a cell after a maiden flight, which just goes to show that you dont always get what you pay for. My Dynam packs are proving to be very good, despite my initial reservations. I thought the Apex would be better, mine must have been made on a Friday.

trex owners.... get the 20C li-po... unless one wanted to maintain hovering all the time, can go with 15C or perhaps 12C li-po, believe me, i've destroyed many of those... refer photo.

With the stock Align motor and ESC you will not have trouble doing hard 3D using 15C batteries.

I have one APEX 15C 2100, and 3 Thunder Power 15C 2100 LiPo’s I don’t know exactly how many flights I have on each but it’s probably over 40. Not the slightest hint of problems. I do however strictly STOP at 6 minutes of flying and charge at 2C.

the first 4 from the left are broken, yes they all went into the routine of run-in processed but during some 3D bashing the operating temp is just too high... ballooning and the capacity dropped thereafter...

I tried using that 30% reduction code "MegaPowerSales" but it says it's expired......
The way they are priced now you might as well get some Apexes.
For the 30% less I want to give them a try. Anybody used that code succesfully?

Hi Barnowl, I think it was only a 3 day offer, i was able to order mine ok..email them and tell them that you had problems, they may still do something..worth a try.

Once mine arrives and ive tried them out i will leave some feedback on them.
