Default 9503 servo travel

I have a new aircraft using the Spektrum AR6210 receiver and I'm using a new JR X9503. Seems as I cannot get enough servo travel for the ailerons. In the 9503 I have "flaperons" picked a the wing type. The ailerons are plugged into the aileron and aux2 channel. The ailerons work fine but even with a 150 in travel adjust the ailerons do not give me enough travel, up or down. If I activate the flaps using the flight mode switch the servo travels further so I know that the servo is not binding. They just don't have enough throw in either direction. Any help would be appreciated.
