I'm announcing this early as many have asked when the event will be. We will start at 8:00 a.m. I will post more details on the fun fly as the date approaches. You can expect raffle prizes, good food and a good crowd of Heli guys. If you need more information on our club you can visit www.atlrcclub.org

...UPDATE...

We are reorganizing the flight lines so there will be easier access to the flight line with your vehicles and tents. In other words, we are hoping to get all pilots in position on the flight line with their vehicles where possible. Of course it is first come first serve basis for Pilots. We are also working on a charity raffle in addition to our regular prize raffles. We will be announcing prizes, sponsors, etc. in the coming weeks. Our event has gained enough interest that We will be posting hotel details for out-of-town attendees and pilots.

Atlanta RC Club is on Dekalb County Park land called Intrenchment Creek Park. Dekalb County does not allow camping in their parks.

We hope you can make it too and look forward to seeing you. Bring your GF if she can come as there will be plenty of Heli wives/GFs on site. We are going to be announcing some really good details and exciting things on the fun fly coming soon.

Sponsors will be announced shortly. It looks like the raffle is going to be an impressive one this year. Some of our raffle proceeds will go to our local Boys and Girls Club to fund an RC Aeronautics Program. Stand by for more information as it unfolds.

I'll be posting hotel recommendations early next week for those who are not familiar with Atlanta. At this time my best recommendation for quality and distance from the field is the Holiday Inn near the Braves Stadium. That is providing the playoffs don't bring a home game on the weekend of the 13th.
