Default Scorpion 4035-500 settings...

Hi All,

Is there a website or any info for best practices regarding CC ESC settings for the scorpion motors? I am curious about PWM, timing, and the other motor specific settings.

Thanks, Scott

If your planning on using a Castle Creations ESC..DO NOT use outrunner mode.
CC does not recommend it for Scorpion motors.

Could you elaborate on the outrunner mode not recommanded by CC please ?
I am using it (with a CC ICE HV 160) on an Scorpion 4035-500kv motor and everything's fine...

Default Thanks!

"Motor Timing: 5deg
Drive Frequency: 8kHz"

Thanks.! That's exactly what I was looking for. Sounds like there really isn't much discussion regarding what to do for performance - it's about what the motor wants in order to run correctly and last a full life...
