Default Blade 120 RTF Binding Issue

I just received a 120 rtf from Horizon. Did everything according to the instructions to fly it but it didn't work even though it was supposed to bonded (bound, whatever) already. I went through the binding process numerous times and it still won't work...Light on the heli just keeps blinking. Any ideas??

Could something interfere to the point of preventing it from binding?? I only ask because I just sent a Hero RC H911 that wouldn't bind back thinking it was a bad unit..I have wifi (2.4ghz) so i turned it off, baby monitor....

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you charge the flight battery?

Be at least 2 feet away when binding.

I have also heard of others having difficulty binding only to find they were to close together. I found mine worked best when at least 6 ft apart.
