Default Turbo Ace motor in Genius CP??

I have a Turbo Ace 91416 motor laying around. It worked great on my V100D01 with the stock (WK-WST-10A-L) ESC. As you can see in the photo the mini (JST?) plug for the RX is 3 wire. The Genius is 2 wire and bigger plug. Could I just solder the red and black wires and run this on my Genius?
Don't want to goof and fry the RX. Thanks.
Mike

No that wont work you would need the steve converter, the tail wont handle that motors power it will do full 360° blowouts

If you really want to use that motor they sell the esc with built in converter for 15 dollars.

If you just want more power on a budget pop in a mcpx brushed motor

Ya...I'm looking to order a mCPX motor. It's just that my old V100D01 is sitting there in pieces, I can't stand to try and fix it again. Such a lemon right out of the box. That Turbo Ace motor used to really power that piece of . Trying to make use out of the only good part it had.
Thanks for the advice Dave.
