Tips Getting Started

Hey guys, my name is Josh and i am completely new to the fpv category and need to do something with fpv for a video project for my film class. All i have is a dx8 and a trex 450 pro and i would like to know if i can use any of that or what i need. I am interested in the cheapest high quality setup and im also wondering if a heli, quad or plane is best. Anyway, i know you guys know best about all this stuff so i just want to remind you i am completely new to this and dont know much about it. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could guide me through what people usually do and what kind of setup people are using, that would be awesome!
