Thrust Washer Grease

Hi guys, I dont see any grease on the blade grips thrust bearings, that is the way that it came with, do I have to grease them ??

Does the Tri-flow sling out? Everything I've tried so far slings out after about 5 flights.

Believe it or not Ive been using Shooter Choice high pressure Pistol lube works great and doesn't sling off the bearings !

actually i see no ned for grease on thrust bearings of mini helis or smaller .. it does absolutely nothing for them except attract dirt .. all ive ever needed was a light oiling when i lube other things on the heli simply to prevent corrosion, grease them if it makes you feel better though ive never seen any benefit at all and only the detriment of if your not reeeeeal careful you'll get grit in them .. my advice .. dont worry about it ..

+1 on no grease. I have plopped a drop of machine lube on occation, but primarily because I am lazy, but I don't think there is any grease that will stay put at 3000+ RPM. Never had any problems on my 450's without it.

Out of ignorance or indifference I have never greased my CopterX v2 rotor heads and they have performed well and reliably for over a year.

VERY interesting to hear. I've been considering dropping the grease but haven't out of being a chicken. Other thing I'd love to drop is the grease on the dampners. Anybody see that as something I could drop on the small heli's too? The grease (cleaning and applying) makes it take longer to assemble a head.

As much crashing as I do anything to make that process faster is appreciated.

I can't imagine greasing my Blade CP Pro's. Heck, I use 3 mm I.D. ball bearings instead of dampers in them anyway.
