That stuff is pretty strong?
I brazed some aluminum in trade school and it was plenty strong! But we used flux with it.. That Durafix does well without flux?

A little support for the spindle mount. I ran out of aluminum so I couldn't make the other side. Will get some alu in the weekend.

I have been looking at "store bought" routers, but your build is inspiring me!!
what is the dimension of your usable cutting area?
when you have a chance, please post a parts list with suppliers...

Any issues you have found so far, or anything you would do differently "next time"?

Make sure you ground all your axis motors well, a little bit of electrical noise can really mess up stepper motors

540x410x150mm is the maximum cutting area. It could have been more with the components I used but that's fine with me. For now. I think the dimensions are good enough to route an airframe up to 800 class.

I realized that the height of the main chassis is too high but I'm too lazy to cut the vertical columns
