www.wattsuprc.com.au have the 250Pro DFC Super Combo (with the 3gx) listed for pre-order at only $415 good price IMHO
Just did a search on the P/N and it doesn't look like it is going to be very cheap in the European market:

http://www.rc-toy.de/RC-TOY-SHOP/RC-...+250/index.htm

I was guessing around $500 but I guess we will have to wait and see....

Remeber that if they offer all these upgrades in a standard kit then they are going to lose the aftermarket sales so they are going to need to recover some of this cost up front. I still have yet to see anything official on the Align web site so I guess we are going to have to wait and see....

My LHS says 4-6 weeks after Align announces something officially, they'll have it on their shelves.

I'd epect to see it in general distribution around the end of June. There could always be some early ones out there in a few weeks.

FYI mtuccio

That website I linked is the Australian distributor of Align products. I've never seen their prices change on a cooming soon/book now product (they seem to only put a price up once they are sure) but I may be proven wrong on this one

I do agree that they(Align) will wanna recoup some of their losses in the upgrade market on these new fully upgrade models but then again they are also competing with the blade 300x and 450x which are taking the market by storm with the performance of the AR7200BX included in the already low prices

415 AUD seems like a steal considering it includes a 3gx unit. I wonder how much the version without it will go for.

I don't think that that Align ever considered Blade to be the competition. These upgrades have been in the works for sometime and it is just part of the Align development plan. I don't think that comparing this machine to the 300X is even something that should be considered because these machines are reallyt in 2 different classes and have different target markets. It just worked out that the 300X is so far behind schedule that the 250 might come out first.....LOL

I sure hope you are right on your AU suppliers prices but I guess we will have to see....

UK shop has them for £220 and and £290 for the 3GX version, that's roughly in line with the US pricing

http://rc-hero.co.uk/rc-helicopters/align

Not heard of this seller before

With conversion rates right now that's around AU$370 for the Super Combo
Everything seems to be pointing to a US$400 price.

That would be in line with Blade's $380 300X. If Align makes the super combo with 3GX come in at $400, there's going to be a LOT of people torn out there!

The add says $428 for the 3GX combo (I assume USD)

I've got a 300X on pre-order for £234 (discounted from rrp) compared to £290 for the super combo which would also need another £25 for the Spektrum sat

I've actually contacted the hobby shop asking to swap my pre-order to the little Blade 130X, I'm so happy with my recently converted 250SE with BeastX and DFC, I don't think that the 300X will be as useful for me anymore

Wonder if I can fit sbus futaba rx and beastx in this one. I'd consider one if I could.

A few years back I swore off my T-REX 250SE but these might just be the upgrades and features that brings me back. Between that and the new AR7200BX combo....it now has my attention!

I have experience with V-Bar and Beastx for FBL units. How is the new 3GX? I read it is way better than the old 3G unit. Coming from those FBL units would I be satisfied with the 3GX? Might now even be able to tell because of the size of the heli. Just inherently unstable little guy. Would be nice to just get a combo to save money.
